I don’t look like a successful person, just your average, everyday guy. So you might be thinking, “What credentials does this guy have to write a book on success?” So here’s a quick summary.
I founded a marketing company that’s been in business for 25 years! We’ve taken home the top awards in the world for best corporate videos and scriptwriting, and my photographs have appeared in international publications.
On the sports front, I’ve run marathons on all 7 continents, with a best time of 2 hours, 43 minutes. And my wife Baiba and I have climbed 2 of the world’s highest mountains, Kilimanjaro in Africa and Aconcagua in South America. I don’t like to talk about money, but it’s one indicator of success, so I guess I have to stand up and confess that I’m a...a ..a....a.......millionaire. Whew! Glad that’s over.
The bottom line is, I don’t just talk about success. I’ve achieved it in a number of ways. But just being successful doesn’t make me an expert on the subject. What gives me the real credentials to write this book is the decade I spent asking hundreds of successful people what helped them succeed, then analyzing every word they said. So I still may not look like a successful guy, but I can sure tell you what leads to success. And that’s what my book is all about. |
